Flats, Blackheath Road, Greenwich

We were called by one of our valued decorating clients and asked if we could erect a scaffolding sufficient for the refurbishment and painting of all external windows on a large set of flats; situated on the well-known busy Blackheath Road. 

Kings attended site and provided full access to the entire perimeter of the building. We were able to do this quickly and efficiently without causing any traffic outside on the already congested road, whilst also causing minimal disruption to pedestrians and of course tenants at the property.

Safety of both the client and those living in the building was always a the forefront of our work whilst erecting and dismantling the scaffold to ensure a smooth refurbishment for all involved.

Imax Cinema Waterloo, London

Kings were contacted by a specialist window filming company we have worked closely with over the years and asked to design a bespoke scaffolding so that the interior of the glass façade could be accessed and covered in a protective, shatter proof coating.

Unfortunately, this was because one panel had already shattered and caused major disruption, therefore the job was urgently required but needed to be tended to with extreme care.

Our staff attended the job following confirmation that the client was happy with our design and were able to work through the night, to ensure public safety and continued access to the cinema and erect the scaffold with efficiency and care. It was built in stages as to not disrupt advertisements and other commitments the cinema has to other companies, and we are proud to say we have since returned many times to this venue to complete other major works as a now trusted contractor.

The Orchards, Willow Lane

A new development of large, detached properties were due to start construction and, following this job going to tender, Kings were proudly awarded this site. 

This site commenced in the month of January and so conditions on this site were difficult to navigate for all involved. Kings were able to arrive and complete our daily tasks to help the development of the site to ensure timings were kept to and also maintain the safety of all involved.

Kings provided perimeter scaffolding progressively built in line with the erection of the properties and consequently internal birdcage scaffolding married with this.
